Following an intense bout of rainfall on Tuesday, Gujarat is poised for some respite in the next five days. The red alert has been lifted, leaving only a few districts under an orange alert for today. The latest forecast from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) indicates a shift in weather patterns.
Forecast Highlights:
- July 3: Isolated areas in the Gujarat region, including Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad, as well as Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rains. Additional districts such as Patan, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Mahisagar, Narmada, Bharuch, Dangs, Tapi, Morbi, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Botad are also expected to receive substantial rainfall.
- July 4: Isolated places in the Gujarat region, specifically Surat, Navsari, Valsad and Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, can anticipate heavy rainfall.
- July 5: Similar conditions are expected in isolated areas of Gujarat, including Navsari, Valsad and Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli.
- July 6 and 7: The entire state of Gujarat is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall across many regions.
