Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel has cancelled all his official programmes including the main Gujarat Foundation Day programme scheduled in Jamnagar to be with his son Anuj.
Anuj, about 37 years old, suffered a brain stroke on Sunday. He was admitted to a local hospital and a neurosurgeon DrB K Mishra from Hinduja Hospital was flown in from Mumbai.
After a surgery however, it has now been decided that Anuj would be moved to Mumbai in an air ambulance.
All the Gujarat Foundation programmes are now being held in presence of Governor Acharya Devrat.
Anuj, involved in real estate, suffered a brain stroke at the Chief Minister’s residence in Gandhinagar. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, 60 has been on his son’s side since late Sunday afternoon .
