Gujarat CM Patel Approves New Town Planning Schemes

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved seven town planning schemes for Ahmedabad, Surat, and Bhavnagar which include four preliminary TP schemes for Surat, one each for Ahmedabad & Bhavnagar, and one draft TP scheme for Bavla.

The Government has approved Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) TP scheme no 27 Bhatar-Majura, scheme no 51 Dabholi, scheme no 50 Ved-Katargram, Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA) preliminary TP scheme no 85 Sarthana-Pasodara-Laskana. CM had also approved Bavla municipality Draft TP scheme no 4 (Bavla) of Ahmedabad district.

For the public amenities, 26.21 hectares of land will be available in Surat,3.63 hectares in Ahmedabad,2.21 hectares in Bhavnagar, and 11.26 hectares in Bavla. The land around 26 thousand EWS accommodations will be available due to the approval of 6 preliminary TP schemes and 1 draft TP scheme.

Due to 4 preliminary TP schemes of Surat, a total of 64.49 hectares of land will be available. Similarly, 19.68 hectares of land will be available in Ahmedabad and 11.32 hectares in Bhavnagar. And in Bavla 54.88 hectares of land will be available.
