It is without a doubt true that Gujaratis are good at making money. But, a Surat-based businessman Lavjitbhai Daliya, also known as Badshah, has proved that Gujaratis are equally good at spending money too. He has spent Rs 375 crores on his eldest daughter Goral’s wedding ceremony.
Sangeet ceremony of the couple took place at Avadh Utopia while the wedding took place at Gopin Farm – located on the banks of river Tapi in Surat.
The entire farm was turned into a Kingdom of Dreams for the daughter’s wedding. The theme was rather a perfect mix of ancient historic and international decoratives. There were tall royal decorative walls and a Venice lookalike artificial water canal that showcased Gondolas floating. The Gondolas took the guests to the “Mandap Stage”.
Osman mir Performed at the wedding and gave the couple his blessings. Along with him, there were many other artists, singers, acrobats and performers from around the world to entertain the guests.
There were multi-cuisine recipes along with more than 100 dessert options to choose from.

Lavjibhai Daliya’s Daughter Goral got married to Mayur Ajmera. Bhai Ramesh Oza and many other states and national level esteemed dignitaries like BJP state president C R Patil, state Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi, Education minister Jitu Vaghani, Central minister and MP Darshana Jardosh, MLA Jayesh Radadiya, Pursottam Rupala, Mahesh Sawani along with MLA Arvind Raiyani blessed the newlywed.
Lavjibhai Daliya is not only known for his Philanthropy but also to spend crores of rupees on the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” movement every year. He has garnered praisings nationwide for his Philanthropic Mission that provides financial stability to girl children.
