In a joint operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Narcotics Control Bureau have recovered nine packets of suspected narcotics, weighing approximately 10 kg, from a remote island off the Jakhau Coast in Bhuj on Sunday.
This recovery strengthens the BSF’s ongoing efforts; since June 2024, it has recovered a total of 181 packages containing suspected narcotics.
The BSF has begun a thorough investigation of remote islands and creeks off the coast of Jakhau in an effort to curb drug smuggling in the region.
