The Gujarat Government has planned to bring more colour with the Indian tricolour to the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Mahotsav. The government will launch the campaign in August to make the 75th year of India’s independence more memorable. They intend to fly the Indian tricolour flag everywhere with the help of public cooperation.
The government will organise the campaign in Gujarat from 11th to 17th August. Moreover, they wish to create an atmosphere of patriotism by flying the national pride.
In the light of the tricolour festival, the government will also get the flags of India sewn. The flag shall be as per the Flag Code of India 2002. Further, the administration will distribute them to everyone to fly the flag in their houses. In addition to this, the Khadi organisations will help make the flags.
The Gujarat Government will also schedule morning sessions to discuss the tales of the contribution of freedom fighters. Similarly, the government will take the help of self-employed women and self-help groups skilled in sewing. Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company and the District Youth Development Officer are in charge of the project.
