The Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) 2022 was conducted offline at 11 centres across the state, Sunday morning. The tentative date for the declaration of GSET result is April 9.
There will be no scope for re-checking or re-evaluation of the results. As per the official notification, the number of candidates to qualify stands at 6 per cent of the candidates who appeared for both papers. SOPs were put in order and strict enforcement of rules was ensured. Examinees were required to reach the venue an hour before time. Each candidate was to copy the admit card and an ID proof. Masks and social distancing norms were mandatory. The GSET papers are written only in Gujarati and English.
The three-hour exam has two papers with a total of 150 MCQS each carrying two marks. Candidates need a minimum of 40 per cent to qualify. There are a total of 25 subject papers in GSET. The GSET is conducted by M.S University of Baroda for determining the eligibility for Lectureship in universities and colleges of Gujarat. Aspiring candidates must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from an institution recognized by U.G.C.
