Greta Electric Scooters, a fully-owned subsidiary of Raj Electromotives, unveiled a teaser video for a new electric scooter yesterday, sharing the details of the model through the company’s official Twitter accounts. Nevertheless, the Gujarat-based company is yet to release the scooter’s launch date.

Some sources believe that the newest electric scooter will be out for sale within the next couple of months, keeping in line with the company’s previous product launches.

Last month, Greta Electric Scooters, founded by Raj Mehta, introduced Greta Glide, which is priced at around Rs80,000. The company also released a four-model e-scooter line dubbed Harper, Evespa, Glide, and Harper ZX in 2021.

DRL, EBS, reverse mode, ATA System, smart shift, Digital instrument cluster display, keyless start, disc brakes, and anti-theft alarm are included in all of the company’s current offerings.

Greta Electric Scooters was launched in 2019 and, in addition to electric scooters, they offer conversion kits for pedal-operated bicycles, pedal rickshaws, specially-adapted tricycles, and motorcycles (India’s first-ever Retro-Fitment kit).

Greta Electric Scooters claims that its e-scooters were approved by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in late 2019. The company focuses on India’s Tier-II cities, where two-wheelers are the most common mode of transportation.
