In a heartwarming announcement, Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra on Friday revealed that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the joyous news on social media with the caption that read, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon”.
This announcement comes shortly after the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary on February 7.
Kiara marked the occasion with a playful video, recreating the memorable moment for their wedding. The original clip, which became viral, showed Kiara pulling Sidharth close while he humorously pointed at his watch.
For their anniversary post, Kiara added a quirky twist by pulling a sled with Sidharth on it during a workout session.”How it started, how it’s going. Happy Anniversary to my partner in everything. Love you @sidmalhotra,” she captioned the video.
Sidharth also celebrated their special day with a romantic post, sharing two unseen pictures from their wedding. One image captures a tender moment where Kiara, dressed in traditional attire, smiles joyfully while Sidharth lovingly gazes at her. In the second photo, Sidharth reveals a “K” in henna, symbolising his affection for Kiara.
He captioned the post, “Happy anniversary love @kiaraaliaadvani, officially branded as yours forever!”
The couple tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in a private and intimate wedding in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, attended by their closest friends and family, including Bollywood icons Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput and designer Manish Malhotra.
On the professional front, Kiara and Sidharth are both busy with their exciting projects. The two are reportedly set to star together in an upcoming film by Maddock Films.
Kiara is currently working on Toxic with Yash and has other big projects lined up, including War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and Don 3 with Ranveer Singh.
Sidharth, on the other hand, recently announced his project VVAN: Force of the Forest, a folk thriller set for release in November this year.
