A day before Hanuman Jayanti, Camp Hanuman of Ahmedabad held a grand procession to celebrate the beloved deity. The procession, that was led by priests, started from the temple at Shahibaug, moved to RTO circle and ended at Ashram Road, passing through Paldi Char Rasta en-route. The truck in the procession was adorned with the fixtures and placards that represented the Camp, embellished with flowers and plaques.
The procession and the priests were welcomed by Shivrajsinh Janaksinh Parmar, Paldi district convener of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal, and other party workers. They offered cold water and lassi to all the devotees at the procession.
Talking to our team, Shivrajsinh said that he decided to contribute to the procession as the summer was scorching and the cool drinks could provide some relief to the devotees.
