Vicky Kaushal- and Tripti Dimri-starrer Bad Newz has surpassed the mark of Rs 100 crore at the box office worldwide, makers announced on Friday.
The movie, which was directed by Anand Tiwari and starred Ammy Virk as well, was released on July 19 and has been getting positive reviews in cinemas. The movie has brought in a total of Rs 102.77 crore.
“A global entertainer hit! 102.77 crore in 2 weeks,” read the post on ‘X’ by Dharma Productions.
The film is primarily based on Dimri’s character Saloni Bagga, who becomes pregnant with twins from two different men in a rare condition known as heteropaternal superfecundation. It is produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Amazon Prime.
The characters played by Kaushal and Virk struggle with one another to see who can be the best father to the children. Neha Dhupia plays a crucial role in the movie as well.
