Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, responds to questions about numerous “formulae” surrounding him and Sachin Pilot by saying, “Never in my life have I seen a tradition in Congress when a leader demands something or high command asks him what post he wants… You are making an offer to appease someone, but the High Command and Congress party are so strong that such a situation won’t emerge. It has never occurred and it will never occur.
According to reports, the Congress high command has given shape to a scheme that will let rivals Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan put their feud behind them in light of the upcoming Assembly elections. According to the plan, Pilot will be appointed president of the Pradesh Congress Committee. The choice has been communicated to Chief Minister Gehlot.
