Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani has shared a video of a group employee, Kay Mehta, performing a bungee jump in Rishikesh while harnessed with his wheelchair.
“Most people do it for the thrill. Kay Mehta, our own Adanian, did it to make a statement,” Adani said in a post on Thursday.
He further remarked that the leap demonstrated the belief that “no odds, no fear, can stop willpower.”
In February, Adani announced a commitment of Rs 10,000 crore towards social causes during the wedding of his son, Jeet Adani, to Diva Shah.
As part of the event, the couple also pledged Rs 10 lakh each to support the weddings of 500 women with disabilities every year.
Jeet Adani has shown continued advocacy for the inclusion of persons with disabilities. During an appearance on Shark Tank India, he recommended that the show dedicate an episode to exploring opportunities for entrepreneurs with disabilities and organisations supporting them.
