Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to his home state Gujarat. He reached Ahmedabad Airport on Friday night and after an overnight stay at the Raj Bhavan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today morning visited her mother, Hiraba in Gandhinagar.
It is Hiraba’s birthday today and this year makes it even more special as she is turning 100. To wish his mother on her 100th birthday and seek her blessings, the Prime Minister reached his younger brother’s house in Raisan, Gandhinagar, where his mother stays, at around 6:30 AM. Also, the Prime Minister was seen holding a gift bag, which he had reportedly brought for his mother.
On the occasion of Hiraba’s 100th birthday, various religious programs for the long life and healthy well-being of Hiraba will be organized today at the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple at the Prime Minister’s birthplace, Vadnagar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his mother, Hira baa for around half an hour and then directly left for Pavagadh by helicopter.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Mahakali temple in Pavagadh, where he will seek blessings from the Goddess and will hoist the flag on the temple. Later in the day, the Prime Minister is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development works worth Rs 21,000 Crore during ‘Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan in Vadodara.
