His first movie was not Baazigar
Despite popular belief that his first movie debut was Baazigar, it is his second movie. He took a huge risk and did not shy away from grey roles in the offset of his career with movies like Darr and Baazigar.
However, the first film that the actor starred in is Deewana where he starred as the second male lead next to Divya Bharti. This was his first film that was released in 1992. He received the Filmfare Best Male Debut award for the same. However, he began shooting for Dil Aashna Hai directed by Hema Malini before Deewana but it did not release before.
He did not want to act in Bollywood
Even though Shah Rukh wanted to be an actor and had acted in multiple serials including Circus, Idiot and In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones which was in English, he did not intend to work in Bollywood.
His mannerisms and acting were compared to that of Dilip Kumar but the actor always maintained that he did not want to work for Bollywood as he was not confident in himself.
Gave his award to Salman Khan
As of now, both the Khans share a cordial relationship but there have been extreme ups and downs between the duo’s relationship from being inseparable brotherhood as Karan and Arjun to not crossing paths in the late 2000s.
