Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman during Union Budget Announced that “Startups will be promoted to facilitate ‘Drone Shakti’ through varied applications for drones as a service”.
The finance minister has announced about Kisan Drones which will be a huge asset in the farming and agriculture industry as they will be used to keep track of land records, crop assessments, and also for spraying insecticides on the corps.
For Kisan drones finance minister has announced to facilitate funds with capital raised under NABARD Co-investment Policies to finance startups in rural farming enterprises. She further said that states will be encouraged to revise the syllabus of agricultural universities to meet the needs of natural, zero-budget & organic farming, modern-day agriculture
This announcement of “Drones as a service” can be proven good for those who are into drone industries and those who are in the drone beneficiary sectors.
