The Aryan Khan case has found itself a new name of an ethical hacker. On October 27, an ethical hacker reportedly approached the police and claimed that he was offered an amount of Rs 5 lakh to get the cell records of Shah Rukh Khan’s manager and others. As per the reports, Manish Bhangale, an ethical hacker wrote a letter to the Mumbai Police Commisionerate to inform that two men named Alok Jain and Shailesh Choudhary approached him on October 6 to obtain call records.
The report further stated that the men showed him a Whatsapp chat backup file named ‘Aryan Khan Chat’. They asked him to provide a dummy SIM card in the name of Prabhakar Sail. However, Bhangale refused to take the job.
This comes amidst NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede is facing probe after a witness Prabhakar Sail informed the authorities that he was part of an extortion plan of Rs 25 crores to let Aryan Khan go. He said that he had overheard a conversation that said that Wankhede would receive Rs 8 crores to let Aryan Khan off the hook.
Following this, Wankhede was questioned and removed from the investigation of the Aryan Khan drug case. On October 28, he approached the Bombay High Court and said that the state is personally attacking him. And he was afraid that the police may arrest him any day. He requested the court to provide him with protect as required by the law to protect a central government employee.
However, the court said that he will be given 3 days notice prior to the arrest.
