A police complaint has been lodged against the Second Additional Senior Civil Judge and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate SC Patel for consuming alcohol while performing his duty as a Magistrate in the Modasa Court as well as misbehaving with the employees working in the Court and the Court’s building premises.
The Modasa Town police took further action by filing a case against Second Additional Civil Judge and Assistant Bench Clerk BK Vij in response to the district court registrar’s complaint.
The Modasa Town Police Station, Modasa District Court, and Judge Patel have been notified of the complaint. As a magistrate on Monday, Patel drank alcohol while carrying out his duties and misbehaved with the staff.
While a case has also been filed against the Senior Civil Court Bench Clerk Modasa BK Vij for aiding one another.
The Modasa Town police have filed a case under IPC sections 504, 510, 114, and 66(1)b, 85 in response to a complaint made by District Court Registrar Vijay Bhagat.
