Discerning a basic requirement in drone technology, Delhi and Ahmedabad-based startup has ventured into drone flight simulation.
The team members Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, Om Prakash Das and Suvam Dash who have prior experience of working with ITBP and BSF, reason that there are many startups but the software is still procured from foreign suppliers.
The team claims to have been successful in mapping several parts of drone technology in India. They have simulated crashes and tried various scenarios such as wind effects etc.
There is another firm Empyrwan Robotic Technologies also in the drone space in India. The startup, founded by Shivesh Gaur and Krishna Garg was incubated at iHub. They are able to sign an MOU with Naini Aerospace Limited which is a subsidiary of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd ( HAL) for remote pilot training of drones.
The defence Expoin Gujarat is showcasing several drone-related projects. They focus on agriculture, surveillance, 3D mapping and rescue operations.
Though at an early stage, the drone sector is expected to mature in a few years’ time, estimates experts. It will be a significant employment generator also.
