BJP leader and Deputy Mayor of Rajkot, Narendrasinh Jadeja, also known as Tikubha and his brother Ravirajsinh Jadeja were stabbed in a brawl on Sunday night. The attack was allegedly carried out by Sunny, the manager of a local restaurant ‘Sunny Paji Ka Dhaba’ and his associates. Gandhigram police have arrested the suspect and initiated legal proceedings.
According to police reports, the incident stemmed from a dispute over the restaurant business. The incident reportedly arose from a dispute over the restaurant business, escalating into violence. The Deputy Mayor injured his finger and was transferred to a hospital in Ahmedabad for treatment. His brother Ravirajsinh was initially treated at a private hospital in Rajkot.
Gandhigram police have arrested Sunny, the manager of the dhaba (restaurant) and have begun further legal action. Statements from all involved parties have been recorded as part of the ongoing investigation.
Sunny Paji, the manager of the dhaba involved in the altercation, is a local figure known for his Punjabi restaurant and frequent social media activity. He has previously drawn attention for his flamboyant personality and a penchant for stirring controversies. Sources claim Sunny is prone to aggressive behaviour over trivial issues.
Authorities have assured swift action to address the matter.
