The executive meeting of the Gujarat BJP was organised at Sarsana Convention Hall in Surat on Sunday. The major discussion was about the planning needed to enhance the membership drive by reaching out to more people in view of the upcoming assembly elections.
The inaugural address was delivered by the State chief CR Paatil, following which state cabinet minister Jitubhai Vaghani gave a speech on the Vande Gujarat Abhiyan. Union minister Purshottam Rupala talked about the resolution passed in the latest meeting of the party’s central executive body. Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya also addressed the participants. More than 700 members attended the meeting.
Paatil highlighted the willingness and dedication of 67 lakh BJP workers who filled the page committee form to work at the booth level as part of the election campaign for the 2022 polls. Thereby BJP became the first political organization in the state to start booth-level election campaign work by directly contacting more than fifty lakh families at 52 thousand booths. The booth-level workers had started collecting information about the voters including their opinions.
Also, stressed the organizational journey of one lakh thirty-two thousand kilometres of regional visits across Gujarat, which he finished in the last two years.
Paatil is the second leader after Kashiram Rana to become the state chief from Surat. Under his leadership, Gujarat BJP was innovated digitally by creating a ‘President Dash Board’. Now Paatil himself can view the database of BJP Gujarat Pradesh Sangathan related to the election process on a single screen with a single click. Important decisions taken in the BJP executive meeting in Hyderabad were also discussed in Surat to prepare a winning strategy before the assembly elections. During the meeting, strategic discussions were held regarding Adivasi Gaurav Yatra and Aam Aadmi Party.
PM Modi had also appreciated the efforts of Gujarat State leadership in the National Executive. Gujarat has always been at the forefront of development work under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
