Covid cases continues to surge in Gujarat with fresh 969 cases in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the State to 4753. Ahmedabad leads the list with 396 new cases on Sunday. As of now, there are 136 active Omicron cases in Gujarat out of which 50 alone are from Ahmedabad.
Taking the situation seriously, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation on Sunday evening put four societies in Shahibaug, Ambavadi, Bodakdev and Sola under the micro containment zone.
Gujarat recorded one of the highest cases yesterday in the last six months yesterday with over 1000 plus cases, Ahmedabad leads this list too. Since the last days like the last time, 1000+ cases were recorded in the state.
As Covid cases in Ahmedabad city remain the highest, AMC restarted its micro containment policies for large clusters of dwellings. At present, there are 40 societies under the micro containment zone with four new added on Sunday evening.

4) A block,2,3 rd floor, Sudarshan Prime, Sola Bhagwat, Sola
