Before the swearing ceremony as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, protégé of Anandiben Patel decided to start his day by seeking blessings from various temples around the city.
Firstly, he went to the Sai Mandir in Thaltej and prayed.
In the morning, he went to the Charodi Gurukul Temple and performed the morning aarti and met the santo (monks) over there.
After performing the aarti, he performed gaay pujan (a ritual where cows are worshipped) with the monks from the Swaminarayan Temple.
He also indulged in a heartful conversation with the monks of the temple. The first time MLA bagged the CM position unanimously and before the swearing ceremony at 02:20 PM on September 13, met the Deputy CM of Gujarat, Nitin Patel, for some chai pe charcha.
After that, he also met the former CM of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar.
He also went to the airport to welcome and greet Home Minister, Amit Shah.
