Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the ‘Photo Exhibition’ organised by Photojournalists Association at Ravi Shankar Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, on August 23. The Photojournalists Association displayed around 160 rare photographs on World Photography Day. The Gujarat CM watched the pictures with great interest and congratulated the photographers.
The 31 members of the Photojournalists Association, established over 30 years ago, displayed extraordinary images covering the Corona pandemic until now. The photographers have captured various frames, including natural beauty, traditions, and human sensibilities. The cameras have also captured the government-provided facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chief Minister awarded the first, second, and third prizes to Amit Dave, Shailesh Solanki, and Dhavalo Bharwad. The photographers also received ten consolation prizes from CM Patel. Moreover, the exhibition is open for public view from 11 AM to 8 PM till August 28.
Furthermore, Rajya Sabha MP Narhari Amin, Ahmedabad Municipal Standing Committee Chairman Hitesh Barot, BJP City President Amitbhai Shah, MLA Rakeshbhai Shah, and other political personalities were also present on the opening occasion of this photo exhibition.
