At 1,119 Cr, Ahluwalia Contracts India Limited tendered the lowest quotation bid for the construction of Executive Enclave which will house the prime minister’s office (PMO).
Central Vista Project is touted as the central government’s most ambitious project yet. This project is an initiative for the re-development of India’s central administrative area located near Raisina Hill, New Delhi.
Other bidders included Tata Projects Limited which quoted ₹1,154 Cr, NCC Limited at ₹ 1,158 Cr and Larsen & Toubro Limited at ₹1,317 Cr.
The enclave will comprise three floors along with a basement and targets completion in 24 months. To ensure prime security and inter-connectivity within, its design has been worked upon with measured planning, keeping in mind the various ministries to be housed in the complex.
