1. No Indian Ambassador posted in Poland for a long time now
There is no Ambassador appointed in the Embassy of India at Warsaw in Poland & Lithuania for a long time now. There is also no Deputy Chief of Mission either. Seems like S K Ray who is First Secretary (Political & Commerce) is managing the Embassy affairs. Why no senior officials for the Embassy?
2. Bharat Lal may be back to his parent cadre in Feb. 2022
Interesting is the case of Bharat Lal, 1988 batch officer of Indian Forest Service from Gujarat cadre. His post during his current central deputation was temporarily upgraded from the rank of Joint Secretary to Additional Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation in the Ministry of Jal Shakti and this up-gradation of the post had been extended till January 31, 2022. What after that? Why this up-gradation of the post for just seven months? Buzz is that the officer may be heading for his parent cadre Gujarat in February 2022.
