Incidents of burglary seem to have become commonplace in Ahmedabad.
Burglary of Rs 23.32 lakh was reported in the North park bungalow in Adani’s Shantigram – city’s one of the most posh and equipped with high security areas on November 23.
While the insurance agent’s family was resting upstairs in the North park bungalow, the smugglers entered the house and stole Rs 23.23 lakh, including a CCTV DVR, a mobile phone and a BMW car parked outside. The incident was reported to the Adalaj police after which the police took action.
According to the information received, Kaushal Kailashchandra Dalal works as an insurance agent. The family came from the wedding last Sunday night, then parked their BMW car in the parking lot in front of the house and when he woke up early on Monday morning, he did not see the BMW parked in his parking lot. In addition, the DVR of the CCTV installed in the house was not seen.
The matter is yet under investigation.
