The Border Security Force (BSF) captured two Pakistani fishing boats that intruded into Indian territory near the Sir Creek area in Kutch, Gujarat on Wednesday, March 16.
The incursion was noticed by a BSF patrol party near the mouth of Sir Creek at 4.30 pm on March 16.
The BSF stated that four or five Pakistani fishermen were spotted on two boats, who fled the scene after spotting the troops heading towards them, crossing the swamp on foot.
The boats were seized 1.5 km inside Indian territory. A thorough search of the seized boats revealed only fishing nets and equipment, said a BSF statement.
