The Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Pakistani national early Wednesday morning as he attempted to cross the border fence into India in Gujarat’s Kutch district. The detainee, identified as 30-year-old Afzal from Sialkot, Pakistan, was taken into custody near the Vighakot area.
According to an official statement by the BSF, at approximately 7:15 am, a vigilant BSF sentry observed Afzal attempting to breach the border fence. The sentry promptly alerted fellow BSF personnel, who swiftly responded to the scene and apprehended the individual.
During the subsequent questioning, nothing suspicious was found in Afzal’s possession. However, authorities continue to investigate the incident. The BSF remains vigilant in its efforts to maintain border security and prevent unauthorized crossings.
