Actress Bhumi Pednekar believes that 2023 would be her year as an artist and has six films coming out, including “Bheed,” “The Ladykiller,” “Afwaa,” “Bhakshak,” and “Mere Husband Ki Biwi.”
“With six films releasing this year, I’m putting it out in the universe that 2023 will be my year in cinema as an actor! Given the diversity of these films and the powerful women that I will essay in the film, I don’t think I could push myself any further to showcase the variety of roles that I can play as an artist,” she said.
What excites me the most is that viewers will get to see six different Bhumi Pednekars on screen in a calendar year. I enjoy acting out various lifestyles on film. As an artist, it inspires challenges and thrills me. I’m blessed to be an actor who gets to live out my ambition every day. I could not have wished for anything greater to occur to me, she said.
According to Bhumi, her wish for 2023 is fairly straightforward. “With these six films, I hope to amuse everyone and take a step closer to realising my personal ambition of being acknowledged as one of the greatest actors India has ever produced. I am aware that it will take a lot of effort, but I am willing to give it my all because my goal is to rank among the best. This has motivated me to this point, and I hope it will continue to motivate me in the future.”
