The names from BJP have now started appearing in the cases related to land grabbing, much against their virtue of ‘party with a difference’. More and more BJP MLAs and police officers with protection from BJP are openly grabbing land in Gujarat. Now BJP MLA from Godhra has been alleged of land grabbing of Patangadi village in Dahod district, where the displaced people of village alleged Gujarat BJP MLA from Godhra of grabbing their land by cheating. The displaced people allegedly said that the BJP MLA, CK Raulji and his son misused their position and with the help of certain government officials acquired their land by cheating.
After 40 years, the people of Patangadi village, who lost their land, were recently given a land near Chhabanpur. Also, the people of the village got their land documents, sitting back at their home and the people has said that they were asked to answer affirmatively, when asked for the selling of land at the sub-registrar’s office. Also, they were intimidated and pressurized by the police to keep their mouth shut.
However, the MLA’s son has clarified that there is nothing objectionable in the case and also showed readiness to present necessary evidence to the government department, if needed.
