The BJP today released the names of the leaders who will be in charge of various states and union territories for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Among them, three leaders from Gujarat have been entrusted with the role of co-incharges.
Vijay Rupani, the former Chief Minister of Gujarat, will continue to oversee the affairs of Chandigarh and Punjab as the in-charge and co-incharge respectively. He has been holding this position since September 2022. Purnesh Modi, an MLA from Surat, and Dushyant Patel, a former MLA from Bharuch, have been given the task of co-incharges for Daman and Diu.
