Twitter is abuzz with excitement as Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan launched the highly-anticipated trailer of the upcoming Gujarati film ‘Tron Ekka’ on the micro-blogging platform on Wednesday. The film has been produced by his friend Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah’s Jannock Films. Fans and industry experts were eagerly waiting to have a glimpse of this surefire entertainer.
A delighted Anand Pandit said, “Amitji being a part of my films has become a wonderful tradition now. His cameo in my last Gujarati film, ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate’, surprised everyone, and his unwavering support means the world to me. I am overjoyed that he has launched the trailer of this special film.”
Ever since the announcement of ‘Tron Ekka’, film lovers have been eagerly anticipating the magic brought forth by the talented trio of Yash Soni, Malhar Thakar, and Mitra Gadhvi. Now, with the trailer out, expectations have been surpassed as viewers get a sneak peek into what promises to be a rip-roaring and entertaining flick.
Anand Pandit said, “The cast announcement created a massive buzz, and now the trailer has added to the excitement. The story revolves around three young, clueless boys trying to turn a simple-middle-class home into a secret gambling den. It’s a situational comedy, and the trailer perfectly captures the fun and chaos in the narrative.”
This collaboration marks the fourth venture between Pandit and Jannock Films, following their previous successes with ‘Fakt Mahilao Mate’, ‘Chehre’, and ‘Days of Tafree’. Both producers share a common vision of reviving wholesome family entertainment, and ‘Tron Ekka’ seems poised to deliver on that promise.
The film, directed by Rajesh Sharma, is set to hit the screens on August 18 and boasts an ensemble cast including Hitu Kanodiya, Kinjal Rajpriya, Esha Kansara, Tarjanee Bhadla, and Chetan Daiya.
