Most of Rajasthan experienced cold weather, with all major cities recording the lowest temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to the MeT department. The lowest temperature on Saturday night was 1-degree celsius in Fatehpur of Sikar, followed by 1.6 degrees Celsius in Churu.
The temperature was 3.3 degrees celsius in Hanumangarh and Chittorgarh, 3.5 degrees in Sikar, 4 degrees in Bhilwara, 4.2 degrees in Karauli, 4.8 degrees in Alwar and Pilani, 6 degrees in Dabok, 6.2 degrees in Phalodi, and 6.3 degrees in Anta. Between 6.5 and 10 degrees Celsius were recorded as minimum temperatures in some locations.
Several locations in the state were covered in shallow to heavy fog. A moderate to severe cold wave was reportedly affecting several areas. According to the MeT department, the state’s weather has remained dry.
