Ahmedabad – In light of the ongoing bullet train and station redevelopment endeavors, the terminating stations of several trains have been relocated from Ahmedabad to Sabarmati and Gandhinagar Capital. This shift impacts six pairs of trains bound for Sabarmati and three pairs destined for Gandhinagar Capital.
Trains redirected to Sabarmati are as follows:
- Train No. 12957, the Ahmedabad – New Delhi Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express, will now depart from Sabarmati at 19:05 hrs starting April 7, 2024. Conversely, Train No. 12958, the New Delhi – Ahmedabad Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express, will conclude its journey at Sabarmati at 08:05 hrs starting April 6, 2024.
- Train No. 19401, the Ahmedabad – Lucknow Weekly Express, will commence its journey from Sabarmati at 10:05 hrs effective April 1, 2024. Likewise, Train No. 19402, the Lucknow – Ahmedabad Weekly Express, will end its route at Sabarmati at 23:20 hrs starting April 2, 2024.
- Train No. 19407, the Ahmedabad – Varanasi Weekly Express, will embark from Sabarmati at 22:00 hrs beginning March 28, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 19408, the Varanasi – Ahmedabad Weekly Express, will terminate at Sabarmati at 21:30 hrs starting March 30, 2024.
- Train No. 19409, the Ahmedabad – Gorakhpur Bi-Weekly Express, will now depart from Sabarmati at 10:05 hrs from March 28, 2024. Its counterpart, Train No. 19410, the Gorakhpur – Ahmedabad Bi-Weekly Express, will reach its final destination at Sabarmati at 10:00 hrs starting March 30, 2024.
- Train No. 20939, the Ahmedabad – Sultanpur Weekly Superfast Express, will leave from Sabarmati at 08:20 hrs starting March 26, 2024. On the other hand, Train No. 20940, the Sultanpur – Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Express, will conclude its journey at Sabarmati at 21:30 hrs starting March 27, 2024.
- Train No. 19415, the Ahmedabad – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Weekly Express, will commence its journey from Sabarmati at 20:45 hrs effective March 31, 2024. Conversely, Train No. 19416, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Ahmedabad Weekly Express, will terminate at Sabarmati at 21:30 hrs starting April 2, 2024.
Trains redirected to Gandhinagar Capital are:
- Train No. 22957, the Ahmedabad – Veraval Superfast Express, will now depart from Gandhinagar Capital at 21:55 hrs starting April 2, 2024. This train will include an additional halt at Chandlodiya station, with arrival and departure times of 22:18 and 22:20 hrs, respectively.
- Train No. 22958, the Veraval – Ahmedabad Superfast Express, will conclude its journey at Gandhinagar Capital at 05:55 hrs starting April 1, 2024. Similar to the previous train, it will also stop at Chandlodiya station, arriving and departing at 05:10 and 05:12 hrs, respectively.
- Train No. 19223, the Ahmedabad – Jammu Tawi Express, will start its journey from Gandhinagar Capital at 11:20 hrs beginning April 2, 2024. This train will skip the halt at Sabarmati station. Conversely, Train No. 19224, the Jammu Tawi – Ahmedabad Express, will terminate at Gandhinagar Capital at 13:30 hrs starting April 1, 2024, also skipping the halt at Sabarmati station.
- Train No. 19119, the Ahmedabad – Veraval Express, will depart from Gandhinagar Capital at 10:35 hrs from March 16, 2024. This train will include an additional halt at Chandlodiya station, arriving and departing at 11:00 and 11:02 hrs, respectively, and will skip the halt at Sabarmati station. Conversely, Train No. 19120, the Veraval – Ahmedabad Express, will conclude its journey at Gandhinagar Capital at 16:00 hrs starting March 15, 2024. Similar to its counterpart, it will also have an additional halt at Chandlodiya station, arriving and departing at 15:10 and 15:12 hrs, respectively, and will skip the halt at Sabarmati station.
