The phrase ‘Google it’ and ‘search engine’ might not remain synonyms anymore, as Apple is ready to launch its web crawler. Apple and Google, the dominating tech behemoths, are again in rivalry. The American giant has drawn swords with Google in a field entirely monopolized by Google, the search engine.
According to reports, the company shall launch a new user-centric web search engine. However, to avoid any technical hassle, Apple is waiting till January 2023. As per Robert Scoble, a tech blogger, it shall announce a list of items, including the search engine, at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2023. However, speculations about Apple launching a search engine have spread before.
Apple shall also launch the latest iOS 16, iPad OS 16, watchOS, and macOS 13 soon. The software up-gradation shall bring AoD (Always-On Display) feature. Brands like Samsung and OnePlus already offer the AoD feature. However, Apple Inc. will add it to the iPhone 14 line-up, scheduled in September 2022.
Apple will introduce iPhone 14 models with a 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition to this, the new versions will have an adjustable refresh rate between 1 Hz to 120 Hz. Moreover, they’ll help in saving battery. However, if we turn on the AoD feature, the refresh rate shall automatically drop to 1 Hz.
There are also rumors in the market that the Cupertino-based company might launch M2 MacBook Air and the M2 Mac mini at WWDC. Rumors say that Apple will power the new device via an M2 chip. Moreover, many tech bloggers and geeks have predicted that Apple is creating a new Mac Mini with an M2 chipset and the Mac Pro.
