It seems Gujarat has become a hub of paper leaks. Months after a head clerk exam paper leak, yet another similar scam surfaced on Sunday during the examination for forest guards.
The leak was reported from the Mira Datar Sarvodaya High School at Unawa Center in Mehsana district when the examination was in progress from 12 to 2 pm. A candidate was caught after his behavior was found to be suspicious. A letter pad of Shri Nagarik Mandal, Unawa, was recovered from him after he was searched.
In the current examination, questions have been raised as to how the slip of paper with the answers to all the questions reached the candidate. The slip has been seized but has gone viral on social media.
It was only in December that a major paper leak scam ahead of examinations for head clerks conducted by the Gujarat State Subordinate Services Board (GSSSB) was exposed, forcing the State Government to not only launch a police investigation but also indefinitely postpone the exams. The GSSSB head clerks exam paper leak was the biggest scam which affected thousands of job aspirants in job starving Gujarat.
Several other scams were also reported in 2019.
