Anant Ambani and his fiancee Radhika visited Chorvad on Tuesday. Chorvad is the birthplace of Dhirubhai Ambani. This is their first visit to the town after the recent grand pre-wedding festivities.
Kokilaben also accompanied the young couple. The three of them visited the ‘Jhund’ Bhavani Mata temple.
During Tuesday’s visit Anant sought the blessings of the local people for himself, Radhika and the entire family. He said that Reliance owed everything to Chorvad.
Ten people like his paternal grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani should emerge from his birthplace, he said. Such was the strength in the town. He urged the youngsters of the town to have faith in themselves and come forward to achieve great things.
As part of the pre-wedding festivities, the Ambani family had organised a dinner in Chorvad. A programme of traditional Gujarati folk songs, called ‘dayro’ was also arranged for the local people.
The pre-wedding gala festivities took place in Jamnagar for three days – March 1 to 3. Several national and international celebrities attended the festivities.
