Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani today got engaged to Radhika Merchant. In Rajasthan, the couple had a roka ceremony in traditional form, at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant.
Director-Corporate Affairs, Reliance Industries Limited, Parimal Nathwani, took to Twitter to congratulate the couple.
Earlier, In Mumbai, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani hosted the arangetram ceremony of Radhika Merchant at the Jio World Centre.
With today’s ceremony, Anant and Radhika, who have known each other for a few years, officially began the process that will finally lead to their marriage in the coming months. Both families ask for everyone’s blessings and best wishes for Radhika and Anant as they embark on their journey together.
Anant graduated from Brown University in the United States and has since worked for Reliance Industries in a variety of capacities, including serving on the boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures. He currently oversees RIL’s energy division. Radhika is a New York University graduate and a member of the Encore Healthcare Board of Directors. Anant, the youngest son of the Reliance chairman, will lead the company’s new energy business.
