Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah addressed the Sahakar Sammelan in Bharuch. On Friday, while addressing the gathering, Shah said, “It is crucial for the cooperate sector employees to undergo training. I’m glad that we have set the foundation of Sahakari Shikshan Bhawan. Even the Indian Government has given full attention to the cooperate sector.”
The training center would have a computer lab, management office, library, and a general knowledge training center. The Bharuch District COO Bank is one of the oldest banks in Gujarat, with 49 branches and around 1205 crore deposits. Shah said, “We cannot build a prosperous and transparent sector until we become aware of the duties and rights. Today, all cooperate sector members must have knowledge of the cooperate law.”
Amit Shah claimed that the Government of India, under Modi’s leadership, was successful in building the state and government departments. Their focus is now on the cooperative sector. He said, “No Indian government that has ever come to power thought to abut the cooperate sector. But, Modi Government not only gave it attention. We build a separate Ministry for it.”
Computerization Of All Primary Agriculture Societies
The Home and Cooperation Minister said that soon all the Primary Agricultural Societies of India will be computerized by the Government of India and NABARD. He mentioned, “As we complete the ₹650 crore project, we shall grow 65,000 cooperate societies. Indeed, the cooperate sector has made a huge impact on the evolution of Gujarat.”
CR Paatil was also present at the event. He agreed with Amit Shah and mentioned how Gujarat has grown with the help of the cooperative sector. Even during the global pandemic, the cooperative sector has delivered food packets and masks.
