Telugu actor Allu Arjun arrived at the Chikkadpally police station with his father, Allu Aravind, and solicitors on Tuesday for interrogation over the death of a lady in a stampede after the December 4 screening of ‘Pushpa-2.’ He was interrogated for more than three hours. The interrogation continued until 2:45 p.m.
According to a section of the media, the actor was questioned by a police team under the command of Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav. With that, the entrance to the Jubilee Hills home of actor Allu Arjun was found covered with white sheets.
The cops set up a perimeter anticipating a sizable throng to keep reporters and interested bystanders at bay. The actor received a ‘notice for appearance’ at 11:36 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, requesting that he appear at the police station.
B. Raju Naik, inspector of Chikkadpally Police Station, read the notice: “The case is under investigation, and your presence is quite essential before the undersigned officer to elicit answers from you about the incident and, if necessary, to visit the scene of the offence to ascertain the facts.” He was requested to attend the Chikkadpally police station on Tuesday at 11 a.m. According to the police, Allu Arjun is the eleventh accused in the case.
The actor was taken into custody by the Chikkadpally police on December 13 and spent the night in Chanchalguda Jail. On December 14, he was released after being granted bail.
