The All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Gujarat, Vice-President, Adv. Shamshad Pathan was attacked and stabbed by four goons at Jamalpur Gujri Bazar on Sunday. He was immediately shifted to the V.S Hospital. The police had arrived at the hospital and took the statement of Pathan.
Speaking to Vibes of India, Shamshad Pathan said, “I don’t know the motive behind the attack. Police had taken my statement, I can identify the four who had stabbed me. I’m feeling better as of now.” I will be now shifted to the SVP (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences) hospital.
Pathan was promoted from General Secretary to Vice-President post on Saturday. Earlier, he tweeted thanking AIMIM Gujarat State President Sabirbhai Kabliwala.
