Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became proud parents of a baby girl today. The couple shared the good news to the fans on June 27 that they were expecting their first child. Just a month ago Alia had given a hint about the ‘baby’ in one of her Instagram stories. The couple’s friends and family were overjoyed by this good news.
The new parents shared this announcement through Alia’s Instagram. They wrote “Our baby is here..and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!!”
Grandpa Mahesh Bhatt reacted to this by writing, “I am awestruck by the glory of life. This is a sacred moment for me. A moment of prayer. She is a miracle.”
The couple tied the knot this year on April 28 after being in a five year relationship. The marriage took place in their Mumbai residence Vastu. Ranbir Kapoor said after their marriage “he doesn’t feel like he is married”
Alia and Ranbir started dating when Bramhastra’s planning began by Ayan Mukerji in 2017. When Alia was 11 years old she started liking Ranbir Kapoor. When Alia appeared in an interview with Niranjan Iyengar, Alia confessed she has had a crush on Ranbir Kapoor for a long time, even earlier than she became an actress. The actress went to Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she was 11 years old during which she also met Ranbir Kapoor. Alia manifested marrying Ranbir Kapoor.
