Putting an end to weeks of rumors and speculations, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in a private ceremony today at Vastu an apartment block in Mumbai where Ranbir and Alia live. Only close family members and close friends were invited in this private ceremony, wedding was attended by many b-town celebs who are considered to be close to the newly wed couple
Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Sahni, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and other Kapoor family members attended as baraatis. Alia’s parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan and sisters Pooja and Shaheen Bhatt attended from the alia’s side. Navya Naveli and her parents Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda also joined in as Nikhil and Ranbir are cousins. Akash and Shloka Ambani were also on the list of invited friends along with Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Akanksha Ranjan.
The mother and sisters of both the bride and groom were seen at the wedding venue this morning – Neetu Kapoor walked to Vastu with daughter Riddhima and Alia’s mother Soni Razdan was seen with her elder daughter Shaheen Bhatt. A Haldi ceremony was reportedly held this morning before the wedding and yesterday a mehendi ceremony was held in Vastu.
