AirAsia launched its maiden direct flight from Ahmedabad to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, to boost India-Malaysia air connectivity.
The flight, designated as AK90, will operate four times a week. Departing from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport at 11:15 PM, the flight is scheduled to land at Kuala Lumpur Terminal 2 at 7:15 AM, with a total flight duration of 5 hours and 30 minutes.
AirAsia has planned the operation of this flight from SVPI Airport to Kuala Lumpur on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays.
The inaugural flight, AK90, was fully booked and the guests onboard were warmly welcomed by Mr. Solehuddin Ahmad, the Deputy Director of the South Asia Unit of Tourism Malaysia, representing the Director-General of Tourism Malaysia, along with the AirAsia Allstars team. This initiative marks a significant milestone in enhancing the connectivity between India and Malaysia.
