India’s Harsh Pandya, a resident of Ahemdabad and training out of Team Relentless, Mumbai, secured a Bronze medal at the GAMMA Mixed Martial Arts World Championship 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.
GAMMA is the world governing body for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and is a non-profit sport federation with national recognized federations across five continents.
Harsh beat Brooklyn Lafuente from France in the Pre Quarters via Submission and went on to secure an unanimous decision win against Gonzalo Izquierdo Montealegre from Spain.
Harsh started strong in the semi finals but unfortunately lost to the No. 1 seed Kazak, Yernaz Mussabek via Submission.
