The temperature in Ahmedabad will hover around 44 Degrees Celsius on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive day of experiencing heatwave in the city.
With 1.7 Degrees more than the normal temperature, Ahmedabad reported a maximum temperature of 44 Degrees Celsius and was the second hottest with Surendranagar in Gujarat on Monday. The minimum temperature too remained 2.7 Degrees Celsius more than the normal temperature, at 29 Degrees, in Ahmedabad.
Gandhinagar, Kutch, Patan and Surendranagar also are expected to experience more than the normal maximum temperature on Tuesday and more or less no changes are expected in the temperature for the next three days, stated the statement by Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
However, a fall of two to three Degrees Celsius is expected during the next two days after three to four days of extreme heat conditions, the statement further read.
Notably, with 44.8 Degrees Celsius, Kandla was the hottest place in Gujarat on Monday.
