For the third day in a row, Ahmedabad once again reported a maximum temperature lower than the normal temperature. Also, it was reported as the hottest place in Gujarat on Wednesday with a maximum temperature of 41.5 Degrees Celsius – 0.2 degrees lesser than the normal temperature. However, the minimum temperature in the city was reported 1.1 degrees more than the normal minimum temperature.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad is likely to hover around 42 Degrees Celsius today, on Thursday. Thereafter, no major changes in the maximum temperature are expected for the subsequent four to five days.
Apart from this, the weather forecasting department has predicted light showers over the regions of South Gujarat on Thursday. Navsari, Valsad along with the Union Territories – Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli are expected to receive light rainfall today.
Surendranagar was the second hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 41.3 Degrees Celsius, followed by Amreli and Rajkot at par with a maximum of 41 Degrees Celsius temperature on Wednesday.
