An IndiGo flight from Ahmedabad with 54 people on board had to make an emergency landing in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on Monday.
The Ahmedabad to Lucknow flight (6E 7074) took off from Ahmedabad at around 7.45 am on Monday morning. It was around 8.33 am that the pilot sought permission to make an emergency landing, citing the smell of smoke.
Once the flight made an emergency landing in Nagpur, an initial inspection found no issues with the aircraft. All of the passengers onboard the flight were then flown to their respective destinations. A probe has been ordered by the airline into the matter.
