Adani’s fortune has quadrupled from earning Rs 1.40 lakh crore to Rs 5.05 lakh crores within a year – reveals IIFL’s Wealth Hurun India Rich List.
As per the report, the Adani family is currently the second richest in Asia, surpassing Chinese bottled water maker Zhong Shanshan.
Gautam Adani and his Dubai-based brother Vinod Shantilal Adani have made it into the top ten in the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2021 for the first time. Gautam Adani’s brother Vinod Adani and his family have moved up 12 places to become the eighth richest Indian. The Vinod Adani family’s wealth rose 21.2 percent to Rs 1,31,600 crore.
Compared to India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, he earned Rs 169 crore a day during the year. His wealth has grown by 9 percent to Rs 7.18 lakh crore, according to the Wealth Report.
HCL’s Shiv Nadar and his family’s wealth has increased by 67 percent to Rs 2.36 lakh crore. The Delhi-based Nadar family earned Rs 260 crore a day.
The London-based Lakshmi Mittal family’s wealth rose 187 percent to Rs 1,74,400 crore. He earned Rs 312 crore daily during the year.
